It's insane how quickly the Air gets going. A sub 10 second 1/4 mile in remarkable for any car let along a comfy sedan.

 

It really shows how well the Air's aerodynamics are, as well as the power of course.

 

It's amazing how much the optics of acceleration are a benchmark for EVs and pretty much anything with a whiff of performance associated with it. I imagine that's why the VW group had to resort to a 2 speed gearbox to generate enough quickness whilst trying to maximize efficiency the other 95% of the time.
