Hi. I am interested in buying a Lucid Air Touring see that closest service center and studios are in Tyson's Corner VA and Atlanta. Can NC Lucid owners tell me of their experiences in buying, delivery, first months of ownership, and how to manage service if needed? Thank you.

I heard from another owner in NC that they offered to deliver the Air to his home and even fly him in to the dealer. They sound very accommodating. Have you reached out to them on what logistics would be like?
Thanks for the reply greenmobile. I am going for a test drive later this week, so will ask the sales associate.
Im in the Charlotte area and have found Lucid mobile service to be excellent.

I appreciate that information, Stevepatek. Thanks.
I’m in Norfolk VA and all my service has been with a mobile tech. Nearest “garage” to us is in Richmond. Happy with the service and response. Tech has mentioned that he travels to the Carolinas on a regular basis.
Also, they did fly my wife and I to Tyson’s Corner and put us in a hotel overnight.
I live in Richmond, VA and they're two service guys based here that cover a larger area. My guess is that they may have the same set up closer to Charlotte.

i am in Atlanta and there is no location here yet. All service is mobile. It’s been very good. I’ve been happy with the results as they did all work in my garage.

Lucid gave me choice of being flown up to Tysons (from Raleigh to DC) or having my Touring delivered to me. I chose to fly up to get the vehicle to meet the deadline for the $7500 tax credit. Only complaint was they didn’t top off the battery so had to stop on way home to charge. No big deal as we were hungry and an EA charger was very close to a restaurant.
As for service I still haven’t used it yet. I only have two extremely minor issues (vanity mirror flap wont stay up, one carpet mat anchor won’t stay down). Supposed to get fixed next week and they are coming to my house. My only observation specific to NC is, EA has no chargers near me. Not even in Fayetteville, a city over 100k people. So my free charging is only good if I drive an hour to Raleigh.
I hope you decide to get the car. I’ve owned lots of great cars and this one easily is far and away the best one. My suggestion is get the glass canopy, 20s, and skip Dream Drive unless you are going to keep the car for at least five years. Happy motoring and hope to see you on the Tail of the Dragon.
