Congrats on the Air and thanks for the feedback! What state are you in? Are your garages temperature controlled or do they vary depending on the temperature outside? My Air GT was delivered in early October. I travel between to homes 253 miles apart. Nice weather conditions in October and early November saw a 61% battery usage. Cooler Conditions, upper 30’s, in November and early December saw a 80% battery usage. My last trip in late December saw -9 degrees trip start and 10 degrees finish, I stopped for a recharge to avoid a zero battery at trip end, but I guess I used at least 95%.
North East Wisconsin/North East Illinois. Garages are not conditioned. Just did the trip with temperatures in mid 30’s, used 70%.Congrats on the Air and thanks for the feedback! What state are you in? Are your garages temperature controlled or do they vary depending on the temperature outside?
Mileage while travelling during the week of Christmas to NC from FL ended to be between 60 and 70% of the full charge mileage in the GT model with 21" wheels. Full charge was noted to be 489 miles.I am enjoying my touring and get so many compliments everywhere i go. Definitely a head turner. My range on the touring with 20 wheels came out to be approximately 385. I took a trip that was 281 miles away and after driving for about 100 miles I received notice I will have insufficient miles. I did stop to recharge, and I understand it doesn't go mile for mile but I honestly thought I would have made it to my destination. I'm not an aggressive driver and with the 40 degree weather and heavy rain I was diving close to the speed limit. Not sure how I ate up so many miles.
Thought it would be interesting see what real-world cold weather range is like for Air owners overall. Share your range numbers and any related details you would like to include about it.
