The nose scrapes but OA the vehicle is a joy to drive, the screen/features nav could improve and the software sucks. They need to get to work to on that horrid glitchy software. And the garage door/gate opener works intermittently, that is convenient!

Without a doubt my biggest complaint is how quickly and hard the steering wheel jerks back into the center of the lane. I regularly drive on narrow two lane roads and often want to drive more towards the far right of the lane (on or even over the solid white line marking the start of the shoulder) when a large vehicle is coming toward me. Even if the approaching vehicle is on the center line, my steering wheel jerks me back hard towards the center of my lane. Should be more of a pressure directing me towards the center, not an actual jerk of the wheel. My biggest minor annoyance, is why am I having to replace the key fob battery every 10 days or so?

You can deactivate the lane control from your profile. It annoyed me, as it did you and I actually think it could cause an over reaction with an inexperienced driver. One does get more comfortable with it over time but it is more annoying that helpful. IMHO

The only thing I miss from my Tesla S is how the garage door would automatically close when you left and opened on your return. Other than that I have no concerns.

Thanks for the suggestion. Drives much better now. I also agree with the garage door (leaving) comment. Really hard to find the menu to close it.

Yeah, I back out of my garage, so I have to close the reverse camera to get to the menu, kinda a pain but it’s def a first world problem.

I back in but it still doesn't pop up automatically when leaving. I have found it, but it is so many clicks, sometimes I hit the wrong buttons and give up in frustration (I have my garage opener in my center console). I just keep telling myself, maybe the next update this (or that, or the other, lol) issue will be fixed. I have faith by the end of 2023 most, if not all, these little issues will get straightened out. But maybe those that got the earlier editions said the same thing for 2022. Still absolutely love the car.

I also had to disable the lane departure feature. I didn't want to HAVE TO put on my directional signal every time I changed lanes...or else face the wrath of the warning!

The Lucid it this up for me...points for Lucid. But when you leave your garage, you are forced to X out of the rear video view, select the very small garage door button, and then select the next button to close the door. That requires that you press 3 very small buttons. IF it knows that you are leaving, AT LEAST give us a big button that is easy to press. And I've discussed with my delivery specialist that it SHOULD open and shut the door automatically like the Tesla did. He said they've heard this a lot and they are working on it.

I truly hope Lucid is working on it. If the are laying off some of their software staff I highly doubt that new features will be coming. The remaining staff will be to busy working on existing bugs.

The utter fragility of the 21" tires that have no warranty whatsoever. The rims stick out more than the tire so rashing up the expensive rims is bound to happen. The tires themselves can't be driven in normal daily driving situations as they are too fragile. Pot holes or small road debris which are both common on any street or freeway you will be driving on, give the Pirelli's tires too much to handle and you are awarded with a blow out or a flat. Since you have no spare you are stuck waiting for a tow truck to take you to a Lucid service center where you will be charged over 525 for a new tire. This is the weakest link in the vehicle and in my opinion a manufacturer design defect. These are museum tires - meant to be great looking and completely useless. We will be replacing all 4 as soon as possible. It shouldn't be too long as we have had to replace 2 within the first 2 months of ownership and we were told they have a lifespan of under 15,000 miles. 3 out of our 4 rims have damage - 2 of them major damage and a chunk of rubber gouged out of each tire. So frustrating - and after our first blow out on day 3 we have been so so careful, which just hasn't been enough care with these for show only tires.
