Touring vs Pure AWD?

Anyone know for sure what you get in the base Touring vs the Pure AWD?
1. HP is 620 for Touring. I was told that the Pure AWD is still only 480HP?
2. Range for the Touring is now 425 vs 406 for the Pure?
3. Does the Touring or Pure have front cooled seats?
4. Touring has real leather and 3 interior options vs Pure no options.
5. Anyone know the answers to 1-3, and any other differences? Trying to justify the additional $20K!

Thanks...

It is a great time for automobiles when a lesser equipped model only has 480hp
Right. in 1979 I bought a NEW Camaro Z28 with 190 Hp. About the highest you could get.

But that doesn't answer any of my questions...
Only the Touring has cooled seats, 620 hp and 425 range.
THANKS! Do you know if these are options for the PURE, and the price of each one, if they are available?

They are not available on the Pure as options.
Thanks! Just curious as to how/where you get your info???
So the only way to get these features is to upgrade to the Touring.? Now I have to decide if they are worth the additional $17K+ !!!
Lucidowners.com is a much more active forum and is a better source of information on the Air models.

Thanks. I thought that was the forum I was on!
I took delivery of my Touring last week. I can confirm that the Touring has heated and cooled front seats and all 3 heated seats in the back.
1. Pure will have 480 hp according to the Lucid Pure Launch event.
2. 425 hp vs 406 for pure is also according to the Launch event. I got the 20 inch wheels vs the 19 on my Touring and my range is already dropped to 385 max charge. I took it for a long trip from Detroit to Tulsa, Oklahoma in about 40 degree weather, driving about 10 miles over speed limit so around 80 - 85 mph and lost another 100 miles off the estimate. My point is, you won't notice the 20 mile difference between the two models when you are losing 150 miles anyway. Here is my question. If the PURE is going to have the same battery size and only a single motor, shouldn't the range be better? Even with the two motor config, if the battery is the same and lower hp, shouldn't it have a greater range?
3. I have already answered this one - heated and cooled front, all 3 heated back seats.

I was stopped at a charger on my trip and met another Lucid owner with the GT version. I asked to look at his back seat and I really do prefer the deeper foot well on mine vs the GT. Giving up the extra range and the 0.2 sec difference in 0-60 speed is an easy trade off for more leg room, the $40,000 price difference is all bonus. The cheaper Lucid models seem to make more sense. I would get the PURE if I could just add the glass roof. If they can do 2 motor, 480 hp, 400 miles range in their cheapest model, they can do 1 motor, 400+ hp, 500 miles range without raising the price. That would be a good seller but would hurt their higher priced model sales.

Does anyone know if Lucid has put out horsepower and range numbers for the rear wheel drive only Pure?

Nope. I was patiently waiting for a RWD Pure and expected to see specifications at the November 15th event; alas, only the AWD Pure. I was wiling to wait for the car so long as I knew that it was a car that I wanted but I wanted to know that it was something I wanted to wait for. Alas, it is now more than two months since that event and still no specifications on the RWD Pure and no indication of how much they have decontented it.

So when a Genesis GV60 Performance popped up in my vicinity a month ago, I jumped on it. Hard to compare to the RWD Pure but I can compare it to the AWD Pure. The HP is about the same (high 400s) but the range on the Lucid is much greater (400 miles v. 240 miles). The Lucid is much larger (almost two feet longer). For me, this is a plus as I like a smaller car; for many this would be a minus for the GV60 and a plus for the Lucid. The Genesis is Rear biased and will revert to RWD unless additional power is needed such as when accelerating. There is actually a widget that shows which wheels are being powered and how much at any given time. I believe the Lucid is always all wheel drive but I may be wrong. The Lucid handles much better than the GV60 which is a small SUV (or raised hatch might be a better description). No comparison here. On the other hand, the GV60 has a easier seating position with easy entry/exit for my old bones. The Pure comes with leatherette; the GV60 has Nappa leather. Unlike many electric cars, both have some switches along with the touch screen but the GV60 has more. Both have 360 cameras but to get them on the Lucid one must buy the Pro package; they are standard on my GV60 and work well but are better on the Lucid. The frunk is much smaller on the GV60. Storage is deeper in the trunk on the Lucid but easier to access and will take taller items on the hatch backed GV60. The software on the GV60 is more mature. The GV60 uses blended brakes and the Lucid does not. To me, that means that if I were driving the Lucid I would want to do one pedal driving but for the GV60 I put it in the lowest regen setting and use coasting. Different ways to get to the same place. The Lucid doesn't have SXM in a native framework and one must purchase the upgraded sound system; the GV60 came with a Bang & Loafsen 17 speaker 1400 watt sound system. The GV60 offers three years of complimentary EA charging; those of us with early reservations got the same on the Lucid; later reservations a little less.

I just wish Lucid would be more upfront with information. I just wasn't willing to wait any longer to find out that they had reduced the HP on the RWD Pure to 380, etc.
