When I go to design yours, the Touring starts at $110,900, not $95k. I see it does have options selected that you can't deselect and if you choose cheaper wheels for example the price doesn't decrease it just says $0. Is that really what Lucid is doing? You can have cheaper options, but it doesn't decrease the price?

Is it just my browser?

I assume that is because those are the models available to order for reservation holders. The others are not available yet. And Lucid is letting you know that those options are going to take longer. And I would be very surprised if you can’t get a base touring for less than 110k

patience is key I guess

Lucid has increased the price of the Air across the range.

The Air Grand Touring will increase about $15,000 to a cost of $154,000; the Air Touring will cost $12,400 more at $107,400; and the Air Pure will go up $10,000, to $87,400. The Lucid Air Grand Touring Performance model, the price of which was announced two weeks ago, will remain the same at $179,000, the company said. All of these prices are for base models, so the final price tag could be much higher for customers.

Yeah prices are going up. But they said they will honor the prices at the time of reservation. They could always wiggle out of that, of course
I believe the price increase goes into effect June 1, 2022. People with reservation will hold the original price but they want you to finalize by June 30, 2022. Not sure if what they want is in stone or there is a little more wiggle room?

Got off the phone with Lucid & they need the reservation holders to finalize by Jun 30th, before price increases. I reserved AGT back in 2019 when they opened up & got offer to order about a couple of months back; but could not due to work, home sale, travel, etc ...

So here I'm, wondering if I should bite / not.

Finalize what?

There is no option to select AWD for Pure.

On Lucid's design site, there are options just not prices. I assume because this vehicle doesn't go on sale till the 4th quarter prices will be available later this year. Before you finalize the order they go over everything (prices, options, etc.). Should that option be above your budget you can always drop it, this deposit is refundable till you finalize, after that you cancel say bye, bye to you deposit.

So do they have to enter in your order to ensure that you get the original pricing before the prices go up?

If you reserve a lucid before June 1, 2022 you get the original price locked in (the deport is refundable until you finalize the order) but you must finalize that order before June 30, 2022. That means when they start producing the Touring or Pure later this year, whichever you're interested in you're locked in the original price but if you cancel after the finalization your deposit is lost. I was told that once the car is manufactured and has a VIN two weeks before delivery the total money has to be in Lucid's hands. Now, if you're in a state with a studio I would think you pay them, I live in a state without a studio so I assume I need to wire to lucid? I was also told if your state doesn't have a studio there is no delivery charge? You can call their corporate in California, they may be able to help you with the option pricing? I believe when they were manufacturing the Dream Edition I tried to design the Grand Touring and the few options that were there also didn't show pricing?

All you have to do online is design the vehicle you want with the options you want, use your credit card and enter a deposit, your good to go, remember it's refundable till you finalize.

What is to stop them from raising the price another few times prior to delivery? Once the trust is broken, it may be time to say good bye. Seems like they want you to grantee the receiving side without them guaranteeing the delivery side.

The prices are being raised June 1st! If you finalize by the 30th you are locked into the price before the increase, period! Finalizing means you have a contract for whatever your price was, they can raise whatever they want you are locked in!

Did you have to come up with more money, or agree to forfeit your deposit if you do not go thru with the deal?

The prices are being raised June 30, not the 1st. Sorry.
Here is what I received from Lucid, since I have a reservation with the $139,000.00, I have to finalize by June 30th or I will get the increase.
For those considering a Lucid Air: You can still reserve at the current pricing until the end of the month. New pricing will go into effect on June 1, 2022.

I reserved the AGT, I needed to give a deposit of $1,000.00 for that trim line, I think the Touring and Pure have a smaller deposit needed to reserve. Your deposit is fully refundable until you finalize, after that it's there's whether you buy or walk away.
