I have at least 6 sidewall blowouts in my Dream Edition Car . At first i actually spoke to someone from Lucid for repairs and they all promised they would look into the issue of why the tires blowout so easy and get back to me . Its been a year and no one from Lucid has called to talk to me about this issue . Since then I have had the entire battery system replaced that took a month . I had another sidewall bubble pop up today on the same location as the the last three of four times and called for road side assistance . I got transferred to a third part vendor that could only provide a tow and leave me stranded . This was after getting hung up on a few times and after they explained they are a third party road side assistance that does not provide assistance to anything but a tow .
Bad service will be the quickest route to Lucid failure as this is horrible service that is taken my like for the car in the other direction .

To all Lucid owners this should be a huge red flag

Wow that's brutal to hear. Have your tire issues come from the same side? Also, have they been the same make/model of tire?

I have been on this forum and the other forum for a long time and this is the only time I have seen this situation reported. 6 sidewall blowouts!! Was your car used to make the Max Max movie? What caused the battery system (pack plus wonderbox?) to be replaced?

Are you related to Joe Btfsplk?

Dmaclean, sorry to hear about your Tire issues. Besides owning a Lucid GT, I am in the Tire and Auto Parts business (since 1979). May I point out that LUCID did not make your tires. The tires are warranted by the Manufacturer, Pirelli or Michelin, for defects in material and workmanship. Sidewall blowouts are not common unless they are caused by road hazards, abuse or neglect. Granted, our cars are very powerful and there is a lot of torque on the tires, that that typically doesn't cause failures or blowouts. If you are getting a sidewall bubble, have the tire inspected by a reputable Tire Dealer who can process a warranty claim. He can determine if it is a defector if it was caused by a road hazard or the driver.

I agree. I had a tire blow out on a Toyota after 8K miles and I had to go to the tire company for the warranty claim, not the car company.

Our pirelli blew out at just under 300 miles, they say road hazard. I say prove to me it isn't a manufacturer defect. Lucid won't go to bat for us from what I have been told so far. We didn't hit anything and I asked for camera footage to prove it. I was told we were signing away our privacy rights as Lucid is recording everything which is used for improving the vehicle and proof in accident claims. But when I want a recording from the cameras I am told they don't do that yet...maybe in the future. Ugh. It was a huge hole in the thickest part of the tire. I am sure we would have seen of heard or felt if we hit something. We just heard a loud pop and our tire went instantly flat. $530 bucks later, no one is willing to help us on a brand new tire that's sitting in the garage. No warranty and not even mileage rated - poor choice of tire on Lucids part in my opinion.
