New member. Just put in my reservation for a pure (at my age I want fast but don't need 1,000 HP). Been ogling the new Lucids at the Scottsdale Fashion Square design studio.

I have been driving a BMW 530e (plug in hybrid) for almost four years. I am not ready for a BEV now, as I want the charging infrastructure to improve, but I figure by the time Lucid is making and selling the Pure, the infrastructure should be better and I should be ready.

The Pure. While I drive briskly, it is all on public streets so I don't need 1,000 HP. I might go up one level to get the Nappa upholstery (which I have on my current BMW 530e).

I don't expect the model to be available until early 2023 which is fine with me (I would rather wait for the charging infrastructure to be enhanced and my 2018 BMW is loaded). I think the Lucid is the best model for me out of what is currently available but, of course, that could change by the time the Lucid is available to me.

My biggest issue will be sedan vs. SUV. We are a one car family and my one problem with the Lucid is the narrow trunk opening. I prefer the way a sedan drives but I have a similar trunk problem with my BMW hybrid.

Hi Steve,
Just joining this forum, but I'm currently reserved and confirmed for the AGT. I'm in Scottsdale, so nice to see all the AZ members.

Back to you. I live in the Kierland vicinity and when not in that area, it is often to play golf at the Phoenician (near Fashion Square) or Troon North or Whirlwind.

What are you currently driving?

Do you guys know if they have any jackets in the Scottsdale showroom? I'm thinking of stopping by tomorrow. Would also love to test their garage Chargers while there...
I saw jackets on an employee (he was actually entering the Tesla store there) but I haven't noticed them otherwise. I am not sure that Lucid has released the charging unit yet. But I will check both next time I am there.

I didn't have time to go in (as you probably know they control the amount of folks allowed in at a time) but I did look in and saw what looked like clothing hanging up in the back (by the seat samples).
