Should I “wrap” my new Lucid Air ?

I’ve had my Lucid Air Touring (silver color, glass roof) for a month now.
I’ve heard from others that wrapping the new car with protective film is the way to go.
Thoughts ?

I definitely recommend it, at least for the hood/mirrors/fenders and front bumper fascia. The film will stop small stone chips. I wrapped mine and I am very happy I did so - the chrome nose blade can be pretty delicate, especially the lit LUCID logo.

Please advise as where to get the car wrapped. I live in Albuquerque, NM.
I'm afraid I'm in the SF Bay Area and don't know your region, but there should be a number of local detailers who can do this work. I don't think there are major chains - mostly local shops that specialize in tinting and wrapping cars...

I wrapped mine. Definitely the way to go. Makes keeping it clean very easy. Also keeps stones thrown from trucks from doing any damage. Protective film up front and ceramic coating for the entire car. Make sure you find a pro who knows how to wrap correctly. A lot of shops do it, but not all do it at a high level.

I live in the Bay Area. Is there a shop you would recommend?? I know of one in Fremont that mostly does Tesla. He told me he won’t do Lucid’s since he had a bad experience wrapping one. He claim the paint job on the car was so poor that he had inadvertly damaged the paint. Did the one who warped yours did a good job???

I did wrap the front clip with clear bra (8 mil) AND ceramic coated the whole car. Came out perfect. The issue is the installer software and then install on the plastic parts. I would recommend te shop here in north Phoenix should some one want it?

BTW it is added to carfax as an upgrade too.

Ask for Serena. 602-663-2967

They do work for high end dealerships. And do not refuse private owners.
