Hi All,

I am planning to sell my lucid Air pure which expecting delivery in Q1,2023.

The lucid price increased by 10k after I reserved. ,which is 87k. My original price is 77k , now the current starting price is 87k . I am willing to sell it at 85k.
Also I have 3 years of electrify America free charging compared to new buyers who have only 1year of free charge.

If you are interested, please feel free to DM me. I am expected to get call sometime soon. I am located in New England area and prefer inquiries from that region but open to inquiries from outside of New England as well.

Thanks.

Hi Yogesh, I do not think the reservation is transferable. Please call Lucid and verify. Good luck.
Not looking to transfer the reservation. Selling the brand new car upon the delivery. It is different than transfering the reservation. Committed buyer will get opportunity to customize the car as he wants. The advantage for him is 'No wait time' plus savings of 2K.

I don't think Lucid can maintain price and keep selling volumes high enough to sustain the company. Tesla sees the writing on the wall and is staying ahead of the curve (lowering prices), BUT, Tesla has the critical volume and experience to handle lower prices and still make money.

The only way Lucid can compete is to lower price, and it will have to be a LOT more than $2K!

I have seen so many people trying to sell their car or reservation. I am scared of them survival I personally do not want the car. Not sure if they will be around long enough to survive it all. The left a big computer with no updates.

Per the last prediction in the market, they will be profitable by 2025 and besides saudi pension fund will make sure that they don't go under.

The business plan for Lucid is to expand the product line to include an SUV and smaller vehicles. The market for large sedans is very small. The market for large sedans over $100k is even smaller. However, the market for SUV’s is very large as is the market for small and mid-sized vehicles under $50k. This product line expansion is exactly what Tesla did over the past 10 years.
The timing for Lucid is bad with rising interest rates and recession fears.

Is there risk? Yes. But we all knew about the risks going in.

Why do you want to do that?

If you are buying, you have pay the registration fees and taxes in the State you living now. Registration may cost you over a thousand and taxes if any, may cost you 7% to almost 10% depending on where you live. Plus you are willing to lose 2K. Not a smart plan.

Either enjoy the car if you can afford it, ot tell LUCID that you will forego the reservation. It is worth every penny you spent on it.

I reserved my Dream Edition on March 2017 and received it on October 30, 2021. Waiting almost 5 years was worthwhile. You can google "Ironman Lucid Gold" to see my car.

Good luck to you.

The scamming has begun. Reselling at a profit to potential suckers and the car company slashes the price by 15k. Please dont buy these yet guys.
I understand your sentiments. I would be cautious too about dealing with someone unknown. Not trying to scam anyone here. I am from New Hampshire and preferred to deal with someone from New England as you can see in my original posting. I have reserved three of these and will be keeping one for myself. It is an honest try to recoup some money towards the one I am planning to keep. Took the test drive last month. It is a great car! I posted here thinking it is a win - win situation for someone who is looking for reserving one now. They don't have to wait. They pay few thousands less and I get some to pay towards my own.

You are a 100% correct. I backed out of my lucid reservation and forfeited $2000 but it was the best $2000 I've ever spent....Versus losing a $140,000..... Instead I took $60,000 and bought a used P 100 D model S With FSD and technology that is 5 YEARS AHEAD OF LUCID.....

You are right! Yes Tesla 100D is 5 YEARS AHEAD OF LUCID. But don't forget Model S came out in 2012 and after 11 years it is still behind their FSD promise. I have a 100D as well. People who bought Model S in 2012 had to wait this long to reach where they are now. LUCID probably will have FSD of Tesla in 3-4 years and don't have to wait 13 years for an incomplete FSD. I do have LUCID DREAM and enjoy it a lot better than my Tesla 100D.

I guess each to his own. Patience is needed for all further developments, I believe.

The problem is exactly has been stated above. $90,000 for a pure will and is too high compared to the E cars that are hitting the market now and shortly. Hyundai 6 and 5 are great cars with good battery distance and technology and $50,000 less. Afraid the big boys (and girls) are going to produce products equal to the lucid at a large discount (exactly why Tesla and Ford had to lower prices). Big fan of lucid, have a Pure reserved but probably going to let it go. Can buy Ioniq 6 for $40,000 less.

They're a lot of good EV's beside LUCID and TESLA. I have both and also have a Chevy Bolt which has 247miles per charge. As a matter of fact, I prefer Chevy Bolt for local driving.

Please be careful in trying to buy a vehicle directly from an individual. Always safe to buy from the company or dealer. Lucid has been producing tons of cars during the first quarter and you can view on YouTube at
If you buy from an individual you do not qualify for the federal and state rebates, if any. In addition the car could be viewed as a used car if you buy from an individual and may lose value.
