Range for touring for 20 and 21 inch wheels.
Does anyone know what's the max range for the air touring with 20 inch rims and 21 inch rims? I heard for 20 inch wheels it is 384, the really far from 425 with 19 inch wheels.

Thank you, if I would've known when i placed the order I would have went with the 21. However, I get lots of compliments with the 20 inch. They look so good.
Since range is a critical factor, I think 19" is the best.
The bigger wheels look amazing - but the tires suck - we have gone through 2 since Thanksgiving when we picked up the car. There is no warranty and I find this pretty unaccpetable to have a tire that I am told by Lucid will likely need to be replaced ever 10-15,000 miles. One of my tires only made it 3 days! Lucid is not offering any help and telling me its up to Pirelli and Pirelli is saying no warranty - deal with Lucid. No spare, so you get to be stranded and replacements are hard to get. The tires should last longer than a few months- this is a manufacture defect and Lucid needs to stand behind their car - the tires are an Achilles heel.
As far as range - we don't get the advertised mileage - it's just like a gas car - city driving you will not get the range they promote. Maybe if you are in perfect weather under perfect long range driving you would get the range??

Somewhere, maybe Motor Trend, they tested the car with the summer performance and the all season tires. The summer performance stopped a good deal shorter and pulled more .10’s of a G in corners. We chose the 20 Inch to have shorter braking and perhaps better evasive maneuvering if needed.
When I charge to 400 miles, the car shows 100 miles remaining after 200 miles of driving. I recharge at that point. So I am getting less than 300 miles when the car should be going 400 miles. I live in California, Bay Area. Weather/Cold is definitely not an issue. What else may be causing it ?
What size tires do you have? Keep in mind, just like with a gas engine you don't run it dry. Also, the lower you run the battery down the more you increase the internal resistance of the battery and decrease the charge capacity over time. I have had my Air Touring since mid Feb. I charge to 80% when it drops below 50% charge. I plan on charging to 95% when I take long trips of > 300 miles. I have 20 inch tires so an estimated range of 384. So for me, I plan based on 10% =38.4 miles under ideal conditions that no one in real life driving gas or electric. If i use 50% (= 192 ideal miles) I will have 45% battery left. In the real work I got 210 miles (on a short round trip) using 85% of my charge (battery was at ten percent when I got home) which is something I will not do again due to the effect on the battery. Keep in mind that 4,000 cycles is approx 10 years of daily charging. If you charge twice a week that is only 10,400 cycles in 10 years.
I have 21" tire on a GT. The range is automatically lowered to 469 miles on full charge. 400 miles is about 85% of full charge. My range discussion is based on what the car shows as 400 mile range with 85% charge.
