If you plan to purchase a PURE AWD would you be ok if Lucid charged MORE to unlock 620HP?

I just reserved a Pure this weekend and I have seen posts saying a PURE AWD has no additional HP, BUT I have read online it has 620HP. Any engine creates power/energy, it's physics. So if the HP is reduced it's due to software. Here is the update I receive yesterday (5/9/22)

Lucid SA: "Horsepower for the Air Pure dual motor has not been confirmed just yet. When more detail is available I will get that to you."

If Lucid plans to throttle it with software, I will not be happy...you?

If I buy a car with a stated amount of HP, and I can later increase that amount by paying for a software upgrade, that is way better, IMHO, than being locked into the vehicle with the stated HP. So if I buy a Pure with an alleged HP of 480, but later decide for whatever reason that I want more, it would be great if I could do that by merely paying for a software upgrade.

But in order to do that you would have to have paid $5k for AWD with NO HP increase and then pay extra for the 620HP later. That's not cool.

This is Tesla way which I prefer as well but I heard the dual motor option of the Pure will have 93kWh instead of 88kWh battery but still need to be confirmed by Lucid.

Same here. I am considering upgrading to the touring. As far as I can tell you get the extra HP, more range, leather interior options, and cooled seats. Perhaps more, but details are hard to come by!
