Here is a link to a Goldman Sachs report on the near future production of lithium and cobalt. It is just a projection from one bank, but they do see a dramatic increase in production in the next 1-3 years. They don’t mention US production numbers.
EV detractors and doubters often point to current levels of production on these two metals and extrapolate how many EV’s can be produced going forward. It will be interesting to monitor this going forward.
