If this helps anyone...I ordered a touring on Jan. 2, 2022. For increased range and desire to get the car sooner I upgraded to AGT on 4/28. The car is Quantum grey, Mojave interior with 19" wheels. Today, 5/3 I received my confirmation email. On Thursday I am going to test drive the car in NJ and will confirm then.

I'm looking forward to the actual test drive. I also want to review my color selection and finally, to see how clumsy the instrument panel I'd. Anything you'd like me to check

I am curious of what you may think of the two regen brake settings and if, you get a chance, try the one pedal approach. I would love to get your impressions. I am patiently waiting on my Zenith Red GT. Order confirmed on 4/19 and last week was told to expect a 2 to 5 month wait....

I got my confirmation on 4/29; same thing upgraded to AGT Quantum Grey, Mojave Interior with 21" wheels. Heard from my DA that had a production number assigned but haven't received any confirmation. Patiently waiting....

Congrats on ordering your Air GT @Agustin Tome! Did your DA tell you when you can expect the confirmation? Might be worth it to follow up with them.

Back from my test drive. The car drove even better than I dreamed. I really had no complaints and hit confirm on my order as soon as I got home. The controls were intuitive and the finish was perfect. I tried the braking system in both modes. The "high" mode took a little bit of getting used to but much easier than I thought. I imagine I will use that when I am driving around New York City but for my highway driving "Standard" mode will be the way to go. Was a bit odd not having to put my foot on the brake at a stop sign.

Can someone share your experience on the whole process involved till delivery. This is my first experience buying a car direct from manufacture factory(of course delivery in NJ).

Thanks for sharing your views , li did my test drive in NJ last Saturday which was the same. The pickup speed from 0-65mph happens even before realize , definitely awesome
I do have Etron and it is also really great, but lucid gone beyond.

Well, my experience is that I confirmed my order in November. They told me 2-4 months for delivery so I figured February or March. Delays, delays delays and no communication by the DAs. Finally received my VIN on 4/26. They said that the timelines were getting better and that I would receive it in 2-4 weeks. It is now 4 weeks later and my car is STILL "in production" at the factory. What are they doing? One car per day? Anywho.... it wont be ready for the trip I pushed from early May until the end of this month so I would have the Lucid. I won't have it, so driving an ICE and spending over $1000 on gas. When will I get it? God only knows. Lucid has provided no communication nor information about this whole delivery process. I have no interest in taking delivery anytime soon from these bozos. Good luck is all I can say.....

I was able to test drive at dealer after my order was confirmed. That was in March. Still awaiting for car to go into production.

My latest update. After not hearing anything from the company I emailed my DA in June. He told me that I should expect a vin in the middle to end of July. I emailed him yesterday and was told that my car isn't in production yet. You would think there would be outreach from the company, but their communication is terrible. I am now thinking I'll be lucky if I receive my car this year. There is no way they are meeting their production numbers.
