Thanks, I posted this as well in thread about wheel sizes. I'm curious if the 517 mile range was with these tires?

I suspect the tires will be the same for all. I would gauge the model tire variations to similar cars like the Taycan; if the Turbo uses the same size as the 4S, then the Lucid GT will likely be the same as the Touring and the Pure.

There's a good amount of info out there that says a 19" wheel would have better range than the 21". The 19" offering is not attractive.

Yeah, rolling resistance and drag are higher with the larger the wheels. I plan on compromising with 20s, though 21s are esthetically better.

It depends on whether your driving is long distance most of the time.
Otherwise, I would choose 21" especially with three years of free charging at Electrify America. Even home charging is not expensive after hours.

I definitely like the style of the 21". It can snow here in central Indiana so I need the 19" to put snow tires on. Just have to figure out whether to get Lucid wheels or correct wheel size, bolt pattern and width and get my own. I am looking to get a Bend-Pak lift in garage to facilitate wheel swap.

Does any one know whether Tesla 19" wheels fit the Lucid Air?
I have extra 19" wheels from Model S.

Also keep in mind, tire wear between 19" and 21" will differ too. Historically, Tesla's with 21" tires have to be replaced more frequently than those on 19".

We just took delivery of our Grand Touring with 21" wheels this weekend. We were looking at the treads on the tires and were shocked at how shallow they are, which got us to looking into the tires and the warranty on the tires - which was hard to find as it appears that the tires have no warranty at all. And the reviews of the Pirelli 21" are pretty dismal - expensive tire that wears out very quickly - as in like 10,000 miles, which is like once a year! We were excited for a minute that both goodyear and michelin were coming out this year with EV tires that looked to be more durable, but still made for EV's and their special needs. Sadly they are not making 21! I am seriously thinking of swapping to 19" - has anyone done this? What is involved with making that kind of change? We just thought the 21 looked much better, we had no clue the tires would be a major maintenance item every year. And no spare of any kind for the Lucid either! What are people doing when they get a flat? Just towing it?

I was told to contact lucid customer care. I was given an estimate of approximately 5k to make the switch to 19 inch wheels this is including install.
