I tried to put my Air in neutral so I could take it through a car wash, but I could not get it into N. Only P D or R. Is this a software issue or am I missing the way to do this?

It is a little tricky. From Park, push the drive selector up or down to "1/2 way point of resistance" and hold for 1 second, when you see the car shift to neutral, release the drive selector. If you are in drive already, push the drive selector up to "1/2 way point of resistance" and hold for 1 second, when you see the car shift to neutral, release the drive selector. If in reverse, push the drive selector down to "1/2 way point of resistance" and hold for 1 second, when you see the car shift to neutral, release the drive selector.
I hope it is a touchless car wash as those with rotating brushes will beat your paint to death.

Wow, this is important stuff, I would have never guessed! It shows how important it is to get a MANUAL with the car and not just a brief worthless "thing" in a fancy box. It is really irresponsible that Lucid is selling cars and does not provide a normal manual. It fits the unprofessional purchase experience I have had. It is time for Lucid to start hiring professionals!
