I have a problem with the Lucid's recognition of the phone. It is not clear what the car is supposed to do, though it is clear it doesn't do what it is supposed to. When I use only the phone (no key fob) the car behaves as follows:
1. If the Lucid app is not active the car will not recognize the phone. Is this by design?
2. If the app is active in the foreground, Lucid recognizes, but unlocks only when I am at the door (which may be a good thing).
3. If I just exited the car, Lucid recognizes the phone also if the app is in the background.
4. when I approach the car in the morning or any time that the car was parked for several hours, I have to move the app to the foreground and wait at least 10 seconds for the car to recognize (which can be very annoying when it snows, as it happened a couple days ago).
Please let me know how your Lucid behaves with your phone if you do not have the key fob with you.

I could have sworn that in the past, the car would wake up/unlock whenever I would go near it with my phone, but I went out just now and I had to open the app and hit the ‘unlock’ button.

Would be good to keep trying. We have to know exactly what it's doing for Lucid to fix it.
Btw, today Lucid did not unlock even with the app in the foreground. I had to wait for the car to wase up and unlock.

If you want the fob to work, you need a relaitvely well charged battery. If the fob is not working, try putting in a fresh battery.

You can wake up the car using your app before you exit the house. The doors will be unlocked and the car heated.
