I live in Alpharetta and just got a call last week that they gave me a temporary VIN of some sort and want to deliver the car before the end of the year. Strange. It is a Touring, Silver, DDPro, SS, Canopy. Not sure what I want to do.

My DA updated me that I need to apply for car registration once I receive my car. Lucid is not able to apply for registration on our behalf, as GA DSS is not allowing so. Did anyone faced this issue ? What is the process of applying registration in Atlanta, as I have never applied for my previous cars ? What is the registration fee I need to pay for touring ?
I’m sure someone from Georgia will likely give you more details but in the meantime your DMV website likely has info. I would suggest making an appointment on their website (if available) and take all the paperwork Lucid has given you, your car insurance binder, your ID and a blank check to the DMV. I live in Augusta, and have had my GT since april 2022. I love the car, Wish some features would be updated with software updates.I live in Augusta.
I also want to mention that I had a hell of a time getting my registration. Lucid had to send a complete copy of my USAA auto insurance to get the car registered , Georgia would not even accept a letter from USAA saying the care had insurance. Dealing with GA DMV is a pain!!
