I know that Lucid is planning on offering an IPO at some point, which is great because I'd like to expand my portfolio. What I'm wondering though is how much the IPO will be.

When Tesla launched their IPO it was at $17 a share, now that's before we knew how big EVs would be but still.

More recently, Nikola had their IPO at $37.55 a share before their whole scandal with the SEC. I'm thinking Lucid would fit somewhere in between those two IPO prices.

This newest location is in New York and brings its current number of studios in North America up to eight. They plan on having 20 total studio locations by the end of 2021.

When it comes to the market matters, Lucid’s S-4 Registration Statement has been declared effective by the Securities and Exchange Commission. The stockholder meeting is scheduled for the 22nd of July, and closing is anticipated the day after. Very soon, we’ll see Lucid Motors trading under LCID on Nasdaq. In terms of movement, CCIV stock rose 30% in June and is up over 180% year-to-date. It sank a bit today, but so did all EV stocks.

Lucid Motors EV reservations have been incredibly popular, reaching 10,000 reservations recently. Some individuals even deposited $7,000 or more, which is crazy given that the minimum deposit to reserve an EV was $100.

And when it comes to production of all these EVs, Lucid Motors plans to expand its Arizona production plant by 2.7 million square feet in order to ramp up its ability to produce cars.

This is where we require their definition of "Tesla Killer." Stronger bullish moves initially than what Tesla is able to achieve during the same time, sure. But how long will that last? There will be a cooling period and after that, who knows.

July 23 is when the merger should happen based on a recent SEC filing but I heard it isn't set in stone. It could happen the day after. The only thing that seems for sure is that it will happen late this month.

For those like me who don't follow the market this is rather confusing. Once the merger is complete it will be so much easier. Just follow LCID. I just wonder if all my shares will some day be worth more than the price of new car. Anticipating change to LCID and maybe the number of shares I have will go up? @JWEV100
