Adding to that, the stock dropped in value by 7% in a single day.

Will Lucid survive beyond two years?? I think the layoffs are a big mistake. Lucid needs more quality control and better customer service. With a small staff I expect things might get worst. I hope Lucid makes it since I own one and would like to see the car software improve.

The layoffs are not all car workers related.They still pumping out cars, just more efficient..Car workers.. some staff, some executive..and construction workers....We will be ok in a couple quarters..go Lucid.

The situation certainly is not confidence inspiring. If this YouTuber whom claims to be working at Lucid is creditable, then I cannot imagine the quality of the cars coming off the assembly line these few days.

Also interesting is the story about Saudi National Bank chair resigned after the comment he made that essentially triggered the Credit Suisse sell-off. Sometimes mistake happens, even with very deep pockets. Whom are the major driving force behind these layoffs. What's the motivation and long term plan? How are they going to ramp up production for Gravity?

If they truly were dragging around 18% of dead weight in their workforce, then how did the management let that happen in the first place?

I doubt Lucid had an over staffing problem as their quality control is terrible. Hence the recall because of the danger that the Lucid vehicle will just stop. I was told it was a battery problem I wonder if it had to do with the problem mention in the recall
