Lucid Insurance rates
Curious for those with delivered cars, how insurance rates have compared to their prior car - esp. if it is replacing a Tesla. If you'd share prior car & rate, Lucid rate and insr. provider.

Unfortunately not comparable. I misquoted the amount. It is actually $2,400/yr. For the AGT. My mistake. Our previous insurer charged us about $1,800/yr for 2 cars (Lexus GS 350-2010, and a Lexus SC 430-2007). It definitely pays to shop around and be prepared to make a switch for a better rate.

Hey Tom! Congrats on your new Lucid. I too live in Palm Springs and have yet to see any Airs cruising around town yet. I couldn’t help but chime in about the cost to insure the Lucid Air. To be honest, I think the cost you’re paying in comparison to other Air drivers I’ve helped insure, is actually a bit expensive. I am a licensed broker and work with over 40 different carriers to help Lucid drivers find the best rates possible. I never charge any fees and it never hurts to have someone shop around for the best policy possible.

Hi Nick! Glad to know there is another AGT owner here in town. We actually have neighbors 2 blocks away with a black AGT, and know 2 couples in Rancho with red ones. Ours is also red.
