It makes sense that Lucid would do this given Lucid's push to get orders in at the end of last year. They need to keep orders going and can't let Tesla temp people to switch to a Model S.

I imagine the Tesla price cuts have other companies a bit nervous too.

This is the EV tax credit that the leasing company can take. Not a real discount.

With air Pure deliveries in December being nothing more than a stage act, I can’t see people sticking with Pure due to an indefinite wait. Base model S comes out to around 88k and no real wait. Other worthy competitors are EQE, i4M50. I ordered the Pure in April 2022. If I don’t get a call to confirm order by first week of March, I am cancelling. Unless things turn around really fast, Lucid may end up being Fisker.

Just got off a call with Lucid Financial (Bank of America). So the $7500 comes off as a cap cost reducation. When I pressed him for the terms (MF & residual) of my lease. he said the MF is .00320 and the residual is 52.19% for my 36 month lease with 12k annual miles. Residual Value would be $55,243.12. Purchase price with CA taxes is $107,962 for my Touring. This figure must represent the $7,500 reduction since the car was around $104k (legacy pricing) and with taxes would be much higher. I'm not a leasing expert but these numbers are tough to swallow.

i mean $1625 a month I think is cheaper than a model S lease?

The payment was $1,960 I believe. I am waiting for them to get me the paperwork. I was told I have 45 days from the day my application was accepted to (1/20) to take delivery of the vehicle.
