My car should be delivered soon. I applied with Lucid Financial for a 36 month lease as it is my company car. 1st problem is they won't do company leases even if I co-sign so I swallowed that pill. Just got a call from a pleasant gentleman at corporate to connect me to "Lucid Financial" which is actually Bank of America. The 1st thing the woman told me was my lease was approved but we need to go through a verification process starting with bday & last 4 of social. Good so far. Then I had to answer 4 multiple choice questions, the 2 stumpers being prior to 2018 did you lease a car in 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006 or none of the above. I can't even recall what I had for lunch; 2nd I co-signed my daughter's mortgage and I had to guess the monthly payment. FAILED, and was told that because of this I had reapply as in start from the beginning and I was no supervisor to talk to me and she couldn't tell me which questions I got wrong! Called back the Lucid dude and he said he'd fix it. I guess we'll see

Wow that seems way more complicated than it needs to be. Hopefully the person at Lucid can help you sort this out. Do you know when you're expected to take delivery of your Air?
Before year end. Wierd, the 1st thing the BofA rep said was I was approved! I would buy the damn thing but given Lucid is basically in start up mode I like the 3 yr out w/o having to worry about resale/trade in $$. If it proves to be worthy I can always buy it then.

All's well that ends well I guess. Got a call on my cell from an 800# which I would normally not answer but thought it might be a Lucid call. It was "Lucid Financial" and they were giving me a one time special offer to answer 4 new questions and if I f***** up this time I'd have start my application over. The stump question was multiple choice of 4 cars I owned in the past or none of the above. They included a 2006 Ram 1500. I had owned a 2006 Ram SRT10, an entirely different beast but probably only to people like me. I told her it wasn't technically a 1500 and told her to pick and somehow I won the door prize. Good luck to everyone else who ends up in the 9 circles of hell that BofA inflicts on its victims.

Update, yesterday I got an email with my lease that they wanted me to sign electronically. I declined and explained in needed to a copy of the document and a firm delivery date before I could do so. Today I got a call from CA from real Lucid employee of Lucid Financial (vs the chuckleheads from BofA) and explained the issue and gave them some ideas on how the process should actually work referencing my past dealing with Mercedes Financial as a reference point. Nice guy and I think they are trying to clean up their act but there are a lot of balls for a new company to keep in the air. I live right outside Boston where they have a studio. I'm not sure why they don't have local personnel more involved.
