Looking forward to his comments and reaction when he sees 520miles on the range.

Based on the type of guy he is and the kinds of cars he’s been reviewing, I think he would have gotten a performance version (2022 Lucid Air Dream P AWD w/21in wheels) and the range on that is “only” 451 miles.
Does he only review cars he owns or has on order?
Jay does both. His own car collection is legion but not infinite. So he brings in people he meets at events where their car has caught his eye. He also has extensive contacts with other collections, museums, clubs and manufacturers that provide him with material. He is a true car guy dating back to when he was a rolls and Bentley mechanic before he was a stand up comedian and tv host

I worked at NBC in Burbank in the 1990's. The studio where Jay Leno did "The Tonight Show" was across the alley behind my office building. He came in every afternoon to do the run-throughs for his monologue before he began taping at 5:00 p.m., stopping by his car warehouse to pick up a car from his collection to drive to work. Part of my daily afternoon routine was walking back to Leno's parking space to check out the car he brought in that day. Everything in his garage was kept in working order, and one day he even drove his Stanley Steamer in to the studio.
