I am willing to sell the spot with the tax credit for $8000 (saving you $9500), and I know how to do it in a way that you won't have to pay taxes twice and it'll go directly into your name. Let me if interested.

I saw the method on another forum/posting but that doesn't change the fact that it is illegal and a misrepresentation.

I've spoken to Lucid, they have no problem registering the car in any name you want.
According to Lucid representatives, all you have to do it provide the name of the purchaser at the time the car is ordered, which in my case, will be very shortly, and the car will be delivered within a couple of months after that.
So once again, if you're interested in purchasing one without a wait and at a discount, please contact me.

What if the reservation holder does a lease and transfers it? Will that work?

I think it was somewhere in the Lucid Owner's forum but not sure where. My recollection is that the poster had provided the Tesla method and claimed that it would work for Lucid.Would you mind posting a link to that discussion here?
I don't know if it will work but I still think there are serious potential legal consequences for doing it unless one is doing it in sunlight.

If you pretend to be the person who reserved the car to get a discount, when you are not, that is a false representation. But if you have approval to do it, or don't misrepresent that you were the original reserver, then you should be okay.
