Hi, I just got contacted to finalize my order for the Lucid Air Pure
I had one of the first reservations in 2020, so I have the 77k vs new 87k price, plus I locked in the order with the $7,500 tax credit
Haven't picked the options yet and so if anyone is interested, let me know and I can transfer the reservation to you and they'll build it right away.
Since there is a total savings of $17,500, I want just 8K and you can save the other 9500.
Thank you!

I called lucod. You can not transfer your reservation. Why would they lose 10k for another person. I see many people trying to sell something you the manufacturer does not allow

Lucid just told me that when your vehicle is ready for delivery, you can provide the registration details of someone in your family or a "friend". But in that case neither you nor your "friend" would be able to take the benefit of the $7500 tax credit in my opinion because the binding agreement (before IRA rules came into effect) was between Lucid-you while the car has been registered in someone else name. Just my educated guess and i could be wrong. Curious to hear what others think.

I spoke to Lucid, they said I can transfer to whomever I want.
So if you can't get the credit, then I'll split the 10K increase and just take 5K to transfer the reservation.
You would still save 5k on it.
Lmk if interested.
Thank you.

P.S.: If it'll make it easier, I can register it in my name and then sell it to whomever wants, but that just may take longer.
