Lucid has announced that all of the reservation spots for the Air Dream Edition have been booked. If you missed out the next highest trim level you can order is the Grand Touring.

They sent this out in a recent email. Also, if you go on their website they removed the Dream Edition from the reservation page.

Pleasantly surprised to see the number at 500 as a Dream Edition reservation holder. I have not come across any reservation holders discussing their reservation numbers and place in line etc like Tesla members did a decade ago. Would be fun if any members here were interested in discussing when they placed a deposit and try to compare reservation numbers to make some sense 🤔
Cheers!
Is there anyone in Phoenix or Tucson that has a reservation for the Dream Edition? I have a surprise for you. Hit me up on this thread.

Welcome to the forum @Kzooguy! How long have you had your reservation for the Dream Edition?

Welcome to the forum @Daparshman! Sorry I'm not in Arizona, are you looking to get a Dream Edition from someone?
They are not as sold out as one believes. I put in a reservation for an AGT back in April and “for snorts and giggles” added my name to the Dream Edition wait list. I never figured that it would amount to much. However, I received a call yesterday asking if I wanted to upgrade to a Dream which would be delivered in a 2-4 month timeframe. We talked a bit about the differences and I told him there wasn’t really anything on the Dream edition that I really wanted, especially for another $30k so left my reservation the same. I did find out that even with my reservation as late as April, the timeline for delivery might not be that different from a Dream - which was surprising. It was my feeling from the call that I might receive it as early as Q1 when I was expecting late Q2 or Q3. I have been trying to figure out how many of each trim have been reserved. by April, I was at about number 8000. Since they are working down the trim line, the vast majority of those first 8000 must be either Pure or AT models.

I find it encouraging that your Dream delivery would have been 2-4 months! Granted yours hypothetically would be one of the last made so you would think they are making the transition to producing GTs in late November early December. My GT reservation is a little later than yours ( august) if you are getting a GT in possible Q1 I’m probably not to far behind considering the breakdown of models ordered. I’m really hoping for a March /April delivery as I put the wife’s Range Rover away after driving for the winter months and transition back to my car. Since I sold my model S last week this timeline would be perfect.

There are only 520 of those Dream editions and 2-4 months been their stock answer for when they would be delivered. They all should be delivered by late Feb. I am still not expecting my car until late Q2/Q3 even though the Lucid rep hinted it could be as early as Late Q1. I have a road trip in the May time frame. I would LOVE to be driving my AGT across the country for that trip and putting it through its paces.

just waiting for those who have the Dream Editions to post delivery updates and anyone with an early AGT to update when their Lucid contact tells them “it’s time!” I don’t consider myself early as they said 7K reservations in February and 8K in May. I’m somewhere between that. Then it depends on how many AGTs were in that first 8K.

I'm a reservation holder since Dec 2019 and recently changed to GT from Touring (at least for now, until I learn more about the option pricing on the Touring). The sales rep said I am one of the earlier reservations and should hear from them in the "next few weeks to months" to confirm my order. That was 2 weeks ago, but gave me some hope they the GTs could start delivering in early 22.🤞

Welcome to the forum @Neurio. Are there any specific options you're looking to get for your Air?

i also considered the Touring, but selected the AGT for 1) range, 2) Dream Drive Pro and 3) the glass canopy. The range is big for me.i do have a Nissan Leaf and the range is very limiting. It is solely a city car because of that. Even so, the reported 151 mile range really depletes during the day with just a few 20 mile trips. There is a big difference between reported and actual range. Also, I would prefer to keep the battery between 20-80% for battery healthwhich would give a reported range of 310 on a AGT. That would be sufficient to take trips in nice weather with a new battery. Cold and hot temperatures will lower the real life range as will years of use. My Leaf is at 87% after 3 years of use. Therefore, range is critical for me. I also don’t know how much the options would be on the Touring or if an extended range option would even be available.

Hearing what your sales rep told you is encouraging about the delivery time. Thanks for the info!

I had originally only planned on getting the glass canopy. Then when they updated the info on the Dream Drive Pro last month to include a bunch of safety features I want and that I thought would have been standard, I figured I'd need to get that too. I also wonder if they'll make you get the upgraded sound system to get the directional warning sounds they've been touting as part of the DDP. Hence my upgrade to GT...

Exactly. Once you do all the upgrades, a souped up Touring will probably cost almost as much as an AGT, but without the range.
