Just back from test Scottsdale test drive and activated order.
Some what confused about delivery options. Studio employees stated Lucid delivers to one’s home if desired.
Delivery issue is sales tax, which if delivered to home location 2.25% less than Seattle Studio.
Any insight’s on this?

Seattle must have a higher sales tax rate than the town your home is in:

“Washington’s retail sales tax is made up of the state rate (6.5 percent) and the local sale tax rate. Local rates vary depending on the location. The sales tax rate for items delivered to the customer at the store location (over the counter sales) is based on the store location. The sales tax rate for items that are shipped or delivered to customers at another location within the state is determined by the place of shipment or delivery.”

8.8% vs. 8.05%. But the state of Washington will likely catch you for the difference when you register the car.

Sales tax is paid based on the address used where you register the car. ( and get your plates )

I live in Carnation, WA, and sales tax was around $19,000. Seattle service/delivery team is very helpful and responsive. I'd recommend you take delivery at home. We took delivery at showroom in November, but if you take delivery at home, they can assist you with connecting to your home wifi, garage door opener, etc.
