My overall experiences up to today has been very positive, and enjoyable, in spite of a major issue with the battery pack that had to be swapped, plus a very troublesome experience on the deliveries of the cars, since the first one was totaled in an accident during transport.
Lucid motor is experiencing the growth pain, and I am feeling it along.
But I expected it and my deep love for the car has not been affected.
I have also become a LUCD stock owner! Go Lucid, Go!

I would be interested to hear more about your battery pack issue. Last week ehile driving we got a red alert on the panel that said “battery fault - car will turn off in 5 min”. We found a safe place to pull over and called Lucid Roadside Assistance. They instructed us on how to restart the car, but 10 min later it happened again.
Today I learned that the battery pack needs to be replaced. No time estimate at this point. We have a rental courtesy of Lucid so we’re just being patient until we know more.
if you don’t mind sharing your experience we’d really appreciate it. Thanks.

Exactly the same thing happened to us, except it only happened once, after that my wife and I turned around and drove 120 miles home without a glitch. Of course she was very upset since we were deep in the northern Georgia mountains on a back country road. The car has no build in compass, so we didn’t know which direction we were headed. I could’ve downloaded a compass app on my phone then but didn’t realize doing it until later. The Lucid adviser over the phone was very helpful. He guided us patiently back to a state highway there we continued home safely. Everything was working normally then.
The next day, a Lucid Mobile van came to the house, and after two hours of diagnosis it was decided that the car needed to be towed to the Service Center in Riviera Beach for repair. In the meantime they said I could drive the car which I did, and had no problems. Two days later a transporter came from NY and towed the car away. It was fun to watch the cars 600 miles journey on the App. and it’s safe arrival at the Center. Then we watched it being moved around in the center for a whole 10 days, wondering what they were doing.
After the second day they informed me the battery pack will be replaced, and proceeded doing that. Then finally a pleasant email informing me the car will be back in two days.
The car has been back now over 10 days, and we’ve been driving it everyday on short trips, so far everything works fine. So that is the short story. I hope it provides you some reassuring.
I am a trained mechanical engineer, I love cars and I thoroughly enjoy driving them, and fixing them. Personally, I view my experience with the Air Dream as being able to share the learning curve and the growth pain with Lucid. Besides, I am 90 years old, and I am having the most wonderful time with this wonderful car.
