I have to question some of the posts that so denigrate Lucid. I've had my Touring for about 5 months and had very few issues. Yes, some things take getting used to and there are clearly things Lucid has to fix but ... I was one of the first to have a Tesla S in 2011 (and owned two for ten years) and while I had some issues then the volume of anti-Lucid posts now remind me of the anti-Tesla posts then. I don't doubt the start-up issues that any new EV company has but there are fake posts here IMO that are merely attempts to drive down interest in the company and the stock price. To the prospective owners reading these posts please take them with a grain of salt and make your own analyses. Yes, even this one I suppose ...

We absolutely love our Lucid. I totally agree that there are some posts here that I really don't understand. We are beta testers and they make that very transparent when you order and pick up the car. This is an amazing vehicle and some of the posters here are so negative. I'm not sure what car they bought, but it isn't the same one I have. Couldn't be happier with this vehicle and every update makes it even better. We have had ours for about 6 months with no problems at all.

Some people expect things to be perfect right out of the gate which is almost impossible for a brand new startup like Lucid. It's still remarkable that a company like Lucid can deliver cars after years and years of the same car companies making cars for so long.

Congrats on getting your Lucid @pbradleyclan! Which model do you have? Is it your first EV?

Lucid Grand Touring. Yes, this is our first EV. We love it. We also have a Honda Clarity plug-in hybrid which works well (I can get to and from work on a charge) for short trips, but the Lucid lasts all week on a charge for both of us to get to work and home.

That feedback likely represents a small percentage of owners, which is to be expected on a discussion forum like this. People are more likely to complain and report issues versus feedback that everything is going well.

Have you met other Lucid Air owners in real life and got feedback from them?

Good points. I do not know any other owners...so few and far between at this juncture ... this just based on my own experience

The fact is I was excited to get my Grand Touring. I hope my excitement comes back but right know I am sacred to drive it. The car just stoped would not work. Luckily I was at Safeway when this happened.
The car had to be pulled into Lucid Service Center were work had to be preformed on the high voltage battery.
I would be glad to show the repair invoice. I just don’t know if it possible to post it here.
Another car picked up the same time mine was just stop on the highway. How scarey is that??

he is fighting with Lucid in order to get his money back. His car high voltage battery has been fixed.
These negative reports are real I know as it happen to me. At the price of the Lucid it should have been a reliable car.
I owned a Tesla model S and it had problems but never just stop working.

I love my lucid as well. Zero issues. I think most negative comments are from non owners and I only believe the comments from verified owners.

I agree that some of the negative postings seem a little fishy, especially when mentioning a competitor. Many do have a valid issue (Creep mode misnamed/dangerous). I have had my Touring for 14 weeks and yes a couple minor current issues (passenger visor wont stay up, one floor mat tab wont stay down, back door will no longer soft close). They should be fixed when the tech comes to my house (don't get THAT with the legacy car manufacturers!). But bottom line is this is an absolutely fantastic vehicle. As a poster mentioned above, Lucid is well ahead of where Tesla was at the two year mark. Software improves every update.

The biggest complaint (which I knew when I bought the car so I have no right to complain... for now)--Lack of local EA chargers is very annoying; my closest city (Fayetteville NC) has over 500k population and ZERO EA chargers. And apparently EA doesn't even have a plan to install any. Again, not Lucids fault. Enjoy the ride y'all!

Not Lucid fault?? It is most complaints have come from previous EA owners of other brands. Mine is from the car just stop working. It’s fixed now and knock on word works flawlessly expect for software glitches. I do fear it will stop working while I am on the freeway
Are you aware that Tesla build out their charging stations using their own dime??
That’s what all other EA manufactures need to do build out a robust network of EA chargers.
Lastly their other EA charging networks beside Electrify America like EVgo etc.
