As a Tesla fan I am reading the Tesla sites all the time.

Today one of the things to note: Tesla is test running the Lucid Air to learn how to make a car with it's features. Lucid is leading in key areas it seems.

Competition is a good thing. Go Lucid.

Welcome to the forum Earl! It makes sense that Tesla is using the Air as a benchmark for their cars. A lot of car companies do that with the competition. Do you own a Tesla or another EV?

What about the Lucid Air do you think Tesla is likely to implement next? A more upscale interior? Higher range? Or some other area the Air stands out in?

I just have an electric runabout at present for my Northern rec property. I also had an electric motor on my boat when I had a cabin near Parry Sound. This year I might get one for Pigeon Lake.

I noticed my ICE car is starting to rust so my plans are to buy a long range Tesla in the next year or two. But I would be a fool if I do not keep an eye on what the competition is doing, check out if someone else has a better fit to my needs.

Note: My most important need is going camping in the different parks here in Canada. Last year it was the Reversing Falls, the year before that Whale watch in the St. Lawrence, this year I am planning to spend three weeks at an Indian Pow Wow on Manitoulin Island in Lake Huron. Next year, who knows.

The motor is better than Tesla's, I am hoping they combine the two designs together - I need range first and foremost to go camping. Yes, I realize this means Tesla will have to pay Lucid money for the licence.
