I believe that building out charging stations across the interstates is part of the infrastructure package.

Does anyone have any idea how much time could it take to have the highways populated with such stations?

Yup, too bad it didn't happen sooner, we always seem to be falling behind European countries with EV adoption but this might be the start of things ramping up at a faster rate.
