Elon Musk owns 9% of Twitter?!
This blew my mind today. For a second I assumed it was a holdover April Fools joke that I had missed until now.

Musk has been such a vocal critic of Twitter's moderation techniques that just a week or so ago he was speculating (on Twitter!) about the need for a new social platform. So I'm pretty interested to see what we learn in the coming hours/days about why he purchased such a big stake in the company.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk has taken a big stake in the social media company Twitter, a regulatory filing released Monday showed.
