I took delivery of my GT on 8/31 (yesterday). My car won’t wake up today (9/1). I tried the FOB and app. I called the hotline and they tried over the cloud. I’m now waiting for a call back from Lucid (it’s been a few hours). My biggest problem is that this happened while it was charging overnight. The charger plug is now locked into the charging port so it can’t be used to charge my other car. Unfortunately, the charger that came with the Lucid is locked in the truck. Anyone know how to get the charger out without waking up the car?

Otherwise, delivery experience was very good. The car was delivered in a covered toy hauler. Build quality looks great.

It’s a ChargePoint home charger. Lucid will be here tomorrow morning. They have been great responding to my issue. I received a notice from Lucid app that charging completed at around 11pm. That was the last time the car was awake.

The car was towed back to the Houston service center. I’m waiting for a report back from them. It doesn’t seem like an easy fix since they didn’t provide me with an update yesterday (as promised). Thanks for everyone’s suggestions. I appreciate it.

You need to wake the car. Car needs to be unlocked before you can pull the plug out of the port.

Happened to me. Battery in key fob was too low to operate car . A recurring problem... Keep spare batteries around
