New lucid owner in PA. Have 20s on the car with summer tires.

Bought an extra set of wheels (19s) and tires for the winter, but I can't find a place willing to swap the wheels.

Any suggestions on reputable shops that will do this without damaging the car or the lucid rims?

I will probably be in the same boat as you when I get my Lucid in 1Q next year. I was wondering, how much extra did you pay for the extra set of wheels and tires for the winter? Have you tried going to Costco for install?

I did not try Costco , went to jack williams and tried pep boys. Both said they could not handle the liability and were afraid of breaking the rims.

Not sure that Costco would be better.

I bought my tires from tirerack with wheels, 2200 tax included out the door. I chose blizzak lm005 on the msw type 73 rim. I think there are others in the forum who had gotten a similar set.

Go to tirerack.com and search their database of certified installers based on zip code. These are typically independent auto repair shops that are skilled, know what they are doing, and have the latest wheel balancing equipment.

Thanks tirerack is where I got pepboys from - the tires were initially going to be shipped there, until I called them and they said they don't know how to do it.

That's funny. I would shy away from mass market auto service centers like Costco and Pep Boys and stick with higher end independent repair shops. There are plenty of them out there.
