We used it this weekend on our first road trip. My son and husband loved it. Felt that it made for much less fatigue when doing a driving trip. I on the other hand did not like it at all. The guys could rest their arm on the door and have one hand on the wheel, which keeps the alarm from going off to keep your hand on the wheel. My arm is too short so I don't feel any sense of relaxing while driving. In fact it was opposite for me, as I constantly struggled with keeping the alarm from going off. And having my hand on the lower part of the wheel which was comfortable for me, did nothing to ward off the alarm. It's like that section of the wheel has no sensor. I did alright with the regular cruise control - but I probably won't be using the cruise control with the full control of the steering wheel. We had one time on a curve that it jerked and seemed to turn off - it only happened once and we don't know if it was a glitch or what.

The Dreamtech pro still needs a lot of work hopefully with Apples help Lucid can improve the software. Lucid hired the software engineer behind Apple car play.
I hope that Dreamtech Pro can get at least as good as Tesla. I used to own a Model S so that’s what I am comparing the software to. Just got the Lucid turned in the Model S 6 months ago

Hello all. Do you think it is worth the 9k for. The. Drivers assist. Pro. From what I here. You have to decide when you design your car. To have it or. Not.
I believe it's no longer true that you have to decide when ordering. I ordered without and I have it as a Demo for 3 months. It will inactivate if I do not pay for (which of course so far I have not).
Keep in mind that so far all it does is keep lane centering. No lane change, no exit from highway. I tested it briefly on a pretty straight road and it worked fine but the real test is on a winding highway. The adaptive cruise also worked fine but is available without the Pro.
The eye and hand sensors are way way way too sensitive!!! But I hope they improve with OTR updates.

I really hope it's worth it. I keep thinking it will be like Tesla self driving, eventually. Right now it's similar to cars with adaptive cruise control and lane assist. I'm pretty sure it will get better in time with more auto pilot features.

Is it worth it? Since it is not fully functional at present, it is a big investment for what seems like Vaporware to some people. But, I bought into everything Peter Rawlinson has said since the beginning and I don't feel like he has failed to deliver so far. So, yes, I invested in Dream Drive Pro and I am anxious to see what Lucid delivers and how long it takes. Since I got the legacy pricing, I think it may prove to be a bargain. My Lexus LS 500 has the same current features (Adaptive Cruise, Lane Assist, etc.) but I think the Lucid System works better, smoother, and is less obtrusive.
Remember, TesElon Muskla has been promising Autonomous Driving for years, and it took years to get where Tesla is now, and it still is not what he promised.
So, Lucid may not compare today, but they seem to be more cautious about what they promise to deliver and when they will deliver it. If they don't deliver, it will be disappointing, but it is not a deal killer. The car is still AWESOME, and the features it does provide still have some value. And, frankly I prefer to enjoy the "pure driving experience" anyway. I bought the Dream Drive Pro in hopes that if my wife takes over the wheel on a trip, I won't worry as much. I have never, ever been able to sleep on a road trip. Maybe, ultimately, Dream Drive Pro will let me dream while she drives! And let me be the Pro Air GT Pilot when I drive!
