I have had no success using the auto park feature, even though it is supposedly enabled. Has anyone else used it successfully?

Only once, first it requires another object to give the car a "space" to park. Drive slowly past spaces you plan to park it, and on the pilot panel, a red dot will appear next to the auto-park. Push the tab and select the space you want to park into.

No experience w/ the Lucid, but the complaint I had with the first generation autopark on my Lincoln was that it required me to go up so far alongside the car behind which I was to park that Philly drivers thought I was passing the spot by and so either crowded up behind me or pulled into it headfirst. Street parking in Philly like most cities is at a premium and people are aggr in grabbing them. I hope the Lucid iteration is better.

I was just messing around to see if it worked and only grabbed the camera halfway through. It worked GREAT! It did get close to the cars in front but it stoped and maneuver perfectly. I'll try to get a video of the whole process.

i wonder how good it is in a city with limited wiggle room. i heard that Tesla is a hit or miss.

Welcome @myfirstev! I'd be keen on seeing that too but I don't know how comfortable I'd be testing it on my own car . Do you have an order place for an Air?

Jon, I would love to see a video of you parallel parking and how far up the Air has to move beside the car in front of the open space to trigger the auto park. My question is whether it has to move so far ahead of the space that drivers behind you pull up, thinking you have passed it up, and block you from backing into the space. Thanks for the previous video.

From what I have personally observed with Cadillac's auto park is it's great on a sleepy residential street, on a busy commercial streat park it yourself.

The video shows how simply it is done. Is it really that convenient? I haven't used the auto park feature ever before.

I have had the auto parking feature on my BMW for more than four years. I have never used it. But I do live in a location where one rarely has to parallel park.
